Road map to a living wage

A living wage is the cornerstone of decent working conditions. The significance of establishing a living wage is that it makes concrete the idea that work should provide for one’s life – that a working person should never, despite their best efforts, be unable to support themselves and their families. Hence, a living wage must be an inherent and inextricable core element of any truly sustainable corporate accountability framework. This document lays out ten recommendations for brands and retailers to take in order to see the implementation of a living wage throughout their supply chain.
