In the joint statement, submitted as input to the European Commission Roundtable Consultations on 'Simplification,' the authors, including the Clean Clothes Campaign, express their unwavering opposition to the re-opening of the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive, which risks undermining hard-fought advancements on the protection of labour and human rights and the environment from harmful corporate practice.
