End brands' complicity
In February 2025, it was reported that Reebok was the new sponsor of the Israeli Football Association (IFA), which includes six football teams in Israel’s illegal settlements built on stolen Palestinian land – making the IFA directly complicit in the violent and illegal theft of Palestinian land to give way for settlements.
After mounting activist pressure, in September 2025, it was announced that Reebok requested removal of its logo from the jerseys of IFA-sponsored teams, while the IFA stated it was looking for a new sponsor. However, Reebok renounced this news the same day, with the IFA stating that the company had reversed its decision. In a statement, Reebok declared: ‘we don’t do politics; we do sport’.
There is nothing apolitical about complicity in apartheid and occupation. The boycott against Reebok continues.
