| UNI Commerce Union Supports Asia Floor Wage campaign |

UNI Commerce, the global union representing some four million retail and wholesale sector workers, recently announced their solidarity and support for the Asia Floor Wage campaign.
A resolution stating support for the campaign was adopted during UNI Commerce’s World Conference, October 3 in Dublin. The resolution stated that conference participants recognised that the AFW campaign meets the objectives of the UNI Commerce Global Action Plan for better jobs and enhanced credibility for corporate social responsibility activities. The resolution followed an announcement by the Belgian UNI Commerce affiliates (CNE, LBC, SETCa-BBTK) of their full support for the AFW campaign and the Clean Clothes Campaign.
